Profhilo skin treatment is an exclusive skin remodeling treatment incredible lasting results and will also benefit clients that have had previous injectable treatments, that want to focus more on hydration & tightening of the skin rather than creating volume to the facial features.
This minimally invasive procedure uses 2ml of Profhilo and takes around 10 minutes to inject. The skin will start to transform for up to 8 weeks after the treatment. Profhilo has a comprehensive range of injection points with 10 injections administered in total. This technique allows us to focus the hyaluronic acid treatment where the skin appears the most relaxed and aged.
This treatment is a two part treatment consisting of 2 visits to our clinic 4 weeks apart to gain the most benefit from this treatment. Some clients may need an extra 3rd session to see even more improved results. If your skin is particularly aged or sun damaged or if you wish to maintain the amazing results.
Profhilo is most commonly used for facial areas, but can also effectively be used for rejuvenating the neck and decollete. Increasingly, the neck is becoming a popular area to have Profhilo, due to its ability to help reduce crepe-like skin and sagginess, and encourage a firmer appearance.
Due to the way that Profhilo is formulated and injected, it is not a volumising treatment in the same way that dermal fillers are, and is not used to enhance specific areas of the face (e.g. lips) Profhilo is primarily a hydrating treatment, and the Hyaluronic Acid it contains is bonded differently to filler therefore it disperses evenly throughout the face, giving your skin a more plump and firm look overall.
The results from 2 x Profhilo treatments will most often last from 6-12 months, but results can differ from person to person.
We start losing a significant amount of collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid after we reach 30, and it is at this age that we start to consider preventative treatments. After just a single course of Profhilo, which involves 2 injectable treatments 4 weeks apart (recommended), you can expect to see intense hydration. It makes the skin glow and fine lines disappear. You’ll notice smoother, tighter skin. Even for those with very wrinkled skin, an improvement in the texture is undeniable. The treatment can be repeated after six months in cases where more repair is desired.
To achieve the best long-lasting results, 2 treatments are recommended with a 4 week interval. Some people may see the results within first week, but the best outcomes of the treatment will be visible 4 weeks after the second treatment.
Most commonly Profhilo is used is clients 40 + to help improve the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Although younger clients can benefit from this treatment, especially those who have dry skin, or who smoke, use sunbeds or drink alcohol or take illicit or pharmaceutical drugs which may have a negative impact on the hydration of the skin.
Clients will begin to notice a difference in the texture and tone of their skin roughly 2 weeks post treatment, maximum results will be seen after 2 sessions ( roughly 6 weeks after the initial treatment ) Clients may also top up their treatment a third time to see game changing results!
We recommend no more than 4 sessions per year.
Clients will have have 10 injection sites on their face which can appear as raised blanche's on the skin, similar to the look of a wasp or bee sting. These marks reduce after 4 hours and the most important thing is that clients should not rub or press the areas for those 4 hours post procedure, this is to ensure that it is the muscles that carry the product to the designated area's that need treating and it is not spread manually, disrupting the natural process.

We do not numb the area due to the way numbing agents constrict the blood vessels meaning it may cause difficulty for the technician to precisely place the product into the sub dermis layer of the skin, which could lead to the product being placed in the incorrect layer of the skin which may reduce the effect of the product and its function.
Rough treatment time is around 10 minutes and most clients experience low pain.
There has been no known reactions to Profhilo. Due to the purity of the product it is extremely unlikely to have an adverse reaction to the product. Most clients experience blanching of the skin for 4 hours post treatment, which is normal reaction to the treatment.
