  • Sun exposure, including tanning beds and the application of sunless tanning products, must be avoided for 2 weeks prior and after the treatment, preferably 4 weeks. Sun exposure, tanning, and sunless tanning products decrease the effectiveness of the laser treatment and increase the chance of post-treatment complications.

  • Area to be treated must be clean, and free of any lotion, makeup, and sunscreen. If you have any of these on, they must be completely washed off prior to treatment.

  • Accutane and any other photosensitizing medication should be discontinued for a period of at least 6 months prior to receiving treatment and should not be used during your course of treatment.

  • Waxing and/or the use of chemical depilatories must be avoided in the treatment area for 2 weeks before and after the treatment to avoid skin sensitivity. Shaving is allowed before treatment to remove surface hair in the areas to be treated.

  • Cover the treated area with a nonstick Telfa gauze pad (after Aquaphor is applied) until the wound is healed.

  • Do NOT pick, peel, rub, scrub, or scratch at the skin in the treatment area throughout the healing process. If crusting occurs, do not shave or pick area.

  • Although blisters and scabs can be a normal response to tattoo removal, most patients will not experience them. In the case that you do, it is important to not pop or pick at them. 1. Activated Charcoal - Helps binds to toxins and rid the body. Helps boost the function of the kidneys.
    2. N-acetyl cysteine (NAC) - Helps to boost the immune system and detoxifiy and reduce liver and kidney damage. It also helps neutralize free radicals that can damage cells and tissues in your body.

  • It’s important to note that even after many sessions, residual ink may remain in the skin. If the skin has thickened due to permanent tattoo-related infiltration or scarring, it is more difficult for the laser to penetrate the skin.

  • There is a slight risk of scarring when having laser treatment, however it should be noted that, the bigger concern would be scarring from the tattoo itself. The patient may see scarring that was already present, that isn’t noticeable until the tattoo pigment is removed.

  • The removal of professional tattoo’s may entail around 2-25 sessions with intervals of 5-6 weeks

This is dependant on the age of the tattoo, the size, the colour, the layering of the tattoo and any scarring or tissue changes due to the tattoo. Another factor to consider is how far away thew tattoo is from the hearts the closer the ink is to the heart the quicker it is carried through the blood stream and eliminated.

As pain is subjective it is hard to answer this question. Laser tattoo removal can feel uncomfortable and has been described similar to a rubber band snapping against the skin.

Clients may apply approved numbing cream to the area prior to the treatment to relieve some of the sensation of the procedure. We do not supply numbing cream.

As the tattoo ink is broken down through the lymphatic system it may cause a weakening in the immune system. It is important for clients to avoid engaging in activities that may further damage or weaken the system. This includes excessive alcohol consumption swell as illegal or prescribed drugs.

From The People

His knowledge in his specialist fields and beyond, have helped me so much with the issues I have had. I have gone in with pain and he's instantly known what the problem is and put it right whilst explaining how/what's caused it. The combination of being extremely accomplished in both osteopathy and cranio sacral therapy is a gold dusted godsend. I always feel completely at ease and completely confident when going to Ross with issues.

Ross has been nothing more than an exemplary osteopath for me and everyone I have recommended him too. After resolving my Long standing back and neck issues I can not recommend him any higher than I do.Super calming and soothing space which enables you to feel safe and relaxed.

— Leon Cook

After 6months of pain in my shoulder. I attended Ross' clinic. It was a very provisional and calm environment. After explaining my issues i had been suffering Ross was able to diagnosis and fix the problem. There was no pressure of a follow up visit as Ross was confident I was now sorted... and he was right. Cannot recommend this guy high enough. Cheers
